Many American children that grew up in urban cities close to airports have at one time or another spent moments staring into the heavens as planes flew by. As we harken back to these memories what do we see? blue skies and white clouds in the background? What about the white streaks that scattered the sky following the planes, which may have been indistinguishable from the clouds themselves?
What seems like harmless mementos of childhood now almost forgotten, have a much more sinister objective according to those who study them. The long-lasting streaks in the sky from aircrafts are referred to as chemtrails, and rather than the exhaust from the plane’s engine that the government claims it to be (similarly referred to as contrails), these trails could be spraying chemicals that linger in the atmosphere and can be harmful to humans as well the atmosphere.

There are multiple theories to what the purposes of spraying these chemicals could be, ranging from depopulation to manipulating the weather. One popular theory is that the chemicals are made to alter the mind state and actions of people in lower-class neighborhoods in order to further oppress them. This theory is even what some believe led to the recent death of the beloved singer Prince.
“When I was a kid I use to see these trails in the sky all the time and so, that’s cool a jet just went over, but then you started to see a whole bunch of them. Then the next thing you know everyone in your neighborhood was fighting and arguing and you didn’t know why,” said Prince while being interviewed on the Tavis Smiley Show in 2009.
During the interview Prince states that his song Dreamer was inspired by what he heard activist Dick Gregory say about chemtrails during the 2008 State of the Black Union. Gregory suggested that manganese was being sprayed in black neighborhoods and causing residents to become violent. Manganese is a chemical element that is reported to cause symptom such as fatigue, mood changes, irritability, concentration difficulties, and sweating not due to physical activity.

In 2007 a farmer named Bill Nichols from Stamps, Arkansas noticed that the strikes in the sky that are commonplace in that area were not fading away, but falling down to the Earth in a mist. He decided to collect a sample of the liquid and contacted a local news station that tested it and found levels of barium in it. Barium is a chemical element that is sometimes used during radiographic x-rays. Negative reactions to such materials could cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach cramping.

Scientists have admitted to manipulating clouds to change the weather, such as seeding them to cause rain. Another theory as to the purpose behind chemtrails is the manipulation of the weather for military dominance. The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HARP) focuses on this exclusively. HAARP has been spraying chemicals into the air for quite some time in the name of science and experimentation. It was verified that in 1950 “biological agents” were saturated in the air over San Francisco to see who among the populous got sick. In 1998 the Global Warming and Ice Ages, a scientific report sponsored by the U.S. government, it was suggested that the scattering of 1 million tons of materials into the atmosphere in order to reflect 1 percent of incoming sunlight would be cheaper to slow global warming through "stratospheric deployment of oxide particulates" than to actually slow down greenhouse gases connected with fossil-fired energy production.
Keep an open-mind and question everything.
